Pillion Rider Fatally Injured.
SYDNEY, Nov. 27.-Four persons were
injured, one fatally, when a motor cycle
ran into a crowd of theatregoers which
was emerging from the King's Theatre,
Old South Head-road, Rose Bay, last
night.Evelyn Frances Smith (15) of Cowper-
street, Waverley, who had been riding pil-
lion on the cycle, was thrown many
yards over the handlebars and received
injuries from which she died today in
the Eastern Suburbs Hospital. John
Rangeley (18) of Wellington-street,
Bondi, the rider of the cycle, received a
fracture of the skull. Charles Noonan
(47), of Hopetoun-avenue, Vaucluse, and
his wife. Gladys Noonan, each received
a fractured leg and head injuries."
